- almost home
- It’s difficult to show others the beauty in the mundane. To walk into a quiet corner and see the grace and vulnerability that comes from the age of chipped paint and cracked tile. In a strange way I have decided to work against all my natural tendencies. I have a deep-rooted fear of the mundane, and a loathing of mediocrity. Yet every image I capture is an attempt to glorify the very commonality that I fear. There is comfort and memory in every image, and the ability to be interested by emptiness and the ordinary is what motivates me.
