I'm kind of a big deal
Kelley Krapp was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. She studied art photography at Syracuse University, where she decided she needed to visit places whose predominate weather could not best be described as grey. After graduation she packed up her beloved car Bessie, and set out on her own.
Several weeks and cartons of cigarettes later, Kelley returned to the steel city with nearly a hundred rolls of film and several shoe boxes of trinkets. Soon after she began molding young minds at the Mattress Factory, and participating in the city's surprisingly vibrant art scene. She splits her time between two jobs and a myriad of hobbies – the latest of which is knitting cozies for her favorite bridges.
